5 Minute Makeup Look to Look Fresh and Awake on Video Conferencing

With covid-19, you probably are video chatting a lot more. I am on almost 15 hours a week, so I still want to look good, refreshed, and awake. I know it’s a stressful time and you may just want to curl up in your pjs all day, but girl, you’ll thank me once you start getting up and moving. Clothes and makeup can change your day.

Make sure you get dressed first. Doesn’t have to be heels and a blazer, but something that makes you look good. Then, it’s time to get to work on that 5 minute makeup look. No need for full glam (unless you want, then PLEASE do it), but it isn’t necessary.

For my look, I start by cleansing my skin lightly with a wipe, then put on an illuminating primer to give my skin a bright glow. I have no favorites to suggest, but was using a sample by Arrow.

Then, I spot conceal using the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer. Just where I need it, like under my eyes and on redness and spots. Using a highlighter, like this Sleek palette, I illuminate my cheek bones with an angled brush, then I also used Nars Laguna to add some color (on the same brush).

After my favorite AOA Brow Gel, I used the Nars bronzer again in my crease, then the highlighter on my lid. Some Badgal Lash (Benefit) on my lashes, then a bit of lipstick, and I was all set.

This took under 5 minutes, and it wasn’t all made up, but the color made me look really nice. This is so fast, and I would highly suggest for videochatting, and it’s something that can carry on after!

Self care is so important right now, and for me, makeup is one of the ways to do that. I hope this look helps, and it’s something you’d want to try!
