Boyer Candy Mallow Cup Outlet

Have you heard of a Mallow Cup? These are delicious, chocolate covered marshmallow cream goodies made in Altoona, PA!

I’ve loved these for years, and 2 years ago, I drove by a sign advertising the Mallow Cup Outlet (Boyer’s Candy) and have been dead set on visiting ever since.

I lovingly asked/harassed my boyfriend into driving 45 minutes from State College for a trip, and he was such a champ, he gave in. The drive is beautiful with all the windmills, so it really was no loss for anyone (especially this chocolate lover).

We arrived to the factory outlet, and I was in my wonderland! There was so much chocolate, in all kinds of varieties, and many deals. We walked away with mallow cups, peanut butter cups, butterscotch peanut butter cups, clark cups, and jimmie stix (chocolate peanut butter pretzels). After thorough taste testing, I can confirm they’re delicious!

We didn’t do much else in Altoona, but this was definitely a highlight landmark I’d suggest visiting if you’re nearby or driving through. I would have loved to see how the candy is made, though they do have videos in the store.

I love to share hidden gems of my state with you, and I’d love to hear if you have more suggestions of places to visit. Let me know if you stop by and enjoy a mallow cup!
