Mainline Today Ladies Night Out

I was so lucky to receive an invitation from Ame Salon to Mainline Today’s Ladies Night Out Event at Aronimink Golf Club on April 17th. This event was one for the books! Everyone was dressed in their best Spring Chic attire, and with over 400 women, it certainly was a ladies night! I found out I was attending the morning of, so I just went by myself, though I had the best time mingling with businesses, fellow mainline women, and learning about the awesome community the mainline has for stylish women.

Vendors Worth Noting

Really, I could talk about every single vendor that was there! Such incredible businesses and organizations, I love going to events like this because you really learn about the community. I wanted to highlight a few vendors that I found particularly enjoyable to talk to, loved their products, or just was so excited to learn about them!

  • Himalayan Salt and Wellness Cave-I was so excited to talk to this business, because it was something I never heard of before. I have a pink salt lamp, but the idea of a room of salt has peaked my curiosity. I received a free treatment, which I plan on scheduling and talking about on here! It apparently is equivalent to three days at the beach, and is helpful for allergies, asthma, arthritis, depression, and a host of other ailments. I also walked away with a fun bag of pink salt for a bath. I can’t wait to share more about this business with everyone!
  • Ame Salon and Spa-We all know I couldn’t go without talking about Ame! Cathleen invited me to come to the event as their guest, and I was so thrilled. Ame has been so kind to me this past year, and I am actually one of their promotional models! It was surreal seeing some of my photos at their stand, and I loved catching up with the awesome team.
  • Clean Juice-I received a super yummy Yellow Juice from Clean Juice in Glen Mills, and this lemon drink had maple water and cayenne pepper. It was spicy, yet refreshing!57723883766__201DC220-25E9-487C-BE6D-66A56A2515DB

The Food/Drinks

  • Delightful food from the golf club including: avocado toast bar, asian chicken salad, poached salmon, cheese, gazpacho shooters, and other great appetizers! It definitely beat the dining hall.IMG_9175 copy.jpg
  • Brick and Brew– I had the most delightful Whiskey Sour from this restaurant, and it may have been the best whiskey sour I’ve ever had!
  • The Gables at Chadds Ford was sampling their famous Shrimp and Grits, and I know why it is famous!
  • There were delicious dessert goodies from Clay’s Creative Bakery and Nothing Bundt Cakes!

The Fun

The night was full of food and vendors, and there was plenty of shopping and learning to be had. I met so many awesome people, participated in raffles, and really just enjoyed a night away from campus.

My Styling

For this event, I wore an off the shoulder pencil dress from ASOS, a Tory Burch wrap, and gorgeous fringe earrings paired with some black pumps. It was such a fun, spring chic look.
