6 Hours in New York City

What does one do with 6 hours to spend in New York City? Well I’ll tell ya! My college chartered a bus for seniors to go and visit the big city, and we only had 6 hours, but those were 6 hours well spent. My best friend and I dressed up and pretended we were tourists for the day!

We started the day by getting a classic New York Water Bagel at a little side cafe. Truly excellent!

Then, we explored Times Square. I bought myself a lipgloss pencil from Kiko Milano, and the bustling of the place was just so exciting to me.

We then walked towards Bryant Park. I find this to be such a beautiful space, and since it had just rained, everything was beautiful, glowing, and lush. The trees, the games, and the little coffee shops all drew us in, and we made sure to spend some time taking photos!

For this wonderful day in NYC, I wore polka dot pants from Zara, my Adidas Sneakers (comfort first), and the gorgeous new top I received from Coco Blu!

Finally, we made it to 5th Avenue. After a quick look around the public library, we did some shopping! I loved going through every floor (out of 10) in Saks Fifth Avenue!

We were getting hungry, so we popped into a deli in Hell’s Kitchen district, and I had the best matzoh ball soup (it was my first time with the authentic one!)

Since we came in at Port Authority, we walked around the garment district and close by streets, got some pizza, and then headed out!

While it was a short trip, it was a fun one, and I cannot wait to go back to this lively city.
