I’m not a fan of surprises, but for my shower, this was a fun one. My mom and sister worked behind the scenes for months to throw me the most beautiful, designer inspired bridal shower to shower me with love and presents prior to my September wedding.

My mom and sister booked the Windows on 6th restaurant at the Americus Hotel, part of our venue and where cocktail hour will be! The decor featured my favorite florals, peonies, as well as a fun custom countdown sign. Of course, the gilded age glamour of the hotel was on full display! The sunshine and warmth made a beautiful lunchtime ambience.

We ordered food and drinks from their lunch menu, and the real showstopper was the large, YSL inspired toasted almond and vanilla cake! They used my initials in the YSL logo for a luxe feel.

One of the most special touches were the favors! Custom wedding teas with my name on them from Harney & Sons. As a tea lover, this was everything. This was such an amazing bridal shower, and I am so grateful to my mom and sister for pulling this off!
