When we first started wedding planning, a guest book was one of my last concerns. I felt it was one expense that would just end up stashed away, and we wouldn’t look at it. I changed my mind when I stumbled across a TikTok that shared not only a guest book, but also a special heirloom for us to display.

Since I was so in love with our engagement photos, I really wanted a way to showcase several of them. A coffee table book felt like the perfect way to do that. Well, instead of just a book with our photos, it is going to double as a wedding guest book! This luxe, linen bound book features both blank pages and photos of us. Guests will be asked to write a note inside for us. When the wedding is over, we will display this book and look through it, being pleasantly reminded of both our photos and our guest’s sweet notes!

There’s a variety of companies that do this type of book, but I chose Mpix to make the perfect book. We had 20 pages to add photos to, and I went with the linen cover with the impressed gold writing. I also went for matte pages to make them smear free for people to write on.

The book turned out beautiful. With the custom page in the front, and our beautiful engagement photos inside, it feels like a true heirloom, which will be complete with our guest’s kind notes.

This is one of the best decisions I’ve made so far about the wedding, and I highly suggest researching this if you’re interested in a unique guest book that serves a double purpose to showcase your engagement photos.
