Apple Watch SE For A Wellness Upgrade

While I had a $30 Amazon fitness tracker, my lovely fiance knew it was time to upgrade me to an Apple Watch this Christmas. I’ve had about a month to test and get used to it, so I wanted to share my experience so you can make an informed choice about whether it’s worth it or not!

The Apple Watch SE is one of their newer models that provides everything you need with high tech, superior delivery. This model provides a great value for money, making it likely the one to invest in unless you’re interested in some features like blood oxygenation levels.

Features

  • Heart Rate
  • Crash detection
  • Apple pay
  • Water resistance
  • Activity Levels, Steps, Calories, Workouts
  • Sleep tracking
  • Compass

I love my watch! It’s chic, functional, and I haven’t had any issues with it. It feels like an extension of my phone, but it serves and additional, useful purpose for my wellness journey. My only complaint is that the battery life isn’t super long and it needs to be charged each evening. I don’t sleep in my watch, so this is minor and totally fine!

My main use for this watch is for workouts and steps. I track all of my workouts on it, and I love to see the calories I burn (I’m a big stats girl). With my under desk walking pad (read more here), I also want to see what kind of steps I am doing each day. Other favorite features I have for the watch are receiving the texts, especially when maybe my phone is on the charger in another room and I want to stay up to date, as well as the camera remote! Each day, I learn more features I can use on this watch to boost both my wellness, and overall life, productivity.

Would you splurge on an Apple Watch? Or do you have another fitness tracker you love? Let me know in the comments if this is the kind of wellness upgrade you’d be interested in!
