Every now and then, you stumble upon a little gem of a restaurant. Bonfattos Italian Market and Corner Cafe is that gem.

Located in the Victorian town of Bellefonte, PA, Bonfattos is an Italian style cafe that sells a variety of delicious sandwiches, breakfasts, pastries, and specials, while also selling coffees and Italian goods to go.

I went there for lunch with some friends, and I wasn’t disappointed by the results. In fact, I am just craving the next time I get to go!

I split a pancetta and jam panini that came with a balsamic glazed arugula salad, had the most delicious latte, and finished it off with a cannoli cream stuffed donut (well, it was an Italian donut that I don’t remember the name of). You read that right though…cannoli cream!

The coffee and food was out of this world, as were the baked goods. I took home one of my favorite kinds of pastries, the Sfogliatella, and the filling they put inside was so flavorful.

I have no complaints about this yummy restaurant, and if you’re a State College or Central PA local reading my blog, I wanted you to know the delicious beauty that is Bonfattos!
