A bit south of historic Charleston, South Carolina lies the Charleston Tea Plantation, the only tea producer in the entire continent of North America.

This historic place is home tea beautiful tea fields, a rustic house, and delicious tea. To see the plantation, you can take a trolley ride around the grounds (a great option if you have more time) and go on a free factory tour led by videos. The factory tour shows you how the delicious tea is harvested and made.

The gift shop is a wonderland, with unlimited samples of all their teas as well as tea themed delights for all. I walked away with some bags of green tea, a tea sticker, and a tea resting dish (and that was with some self control). This is a wonderful place to visit if you find yourself in the area and love tea.
