Do It Yourself (DIY) Customized Bridal Hangers

Bridal hangers

One of the gifts I’m giving my bridesmaid’s on the wedding day is a custom hanger for their dress. Rather than purchase one, I knew I could do a DIY customized hangers with a few supplies, my Cricut, and some creativity!

I combined a couple of different ideas I saw on TikTok into one, resulting in a ribbons and pearls style hanger with touches of blue and script customization.

To start, I purchased white wooden hangers from IKEA, which was about $1 a piece. I used tacky glue to randomly lay down flat back pearls of different sizes all over the hanger. You can buy these at lots of craft stores, but I got mine from Shein. I then took my Cricut and using charcoal vinyl, I cut out everyone’s name in a nice script and put it at the top! To finish, I tied blue chiffon ribbon in a bow around the top (also purchased from Shein).

These turned out absolutely stunning. They’re custom, and I think the pearls and chiffon gives them just a touch of couture without being too much. I have several to hang my wedding outfits on, and I think each girl will love having one for their bridesmaid dress!

If you want to see them in live action, check out my post here! Let me know if you’d make these for your girls below, and tag me if you do!

All thoughts and opinions are my own. I did this craft myself.
