The stars aligned and I had a Tuesday off. I was so excited to be productive and spend some time to myself, I decided to visit a place that has been on my list for a while, Green Engine Coffee Co in Haverford, PA.

This sunny spot is rustic and fresh inside. With comfortable places to work, a gorgeous plant wall, and plenty of natural light, you won’t want to leave. The menu is vast, and the case of baked goods is definitely a delight. The music that plays is loud, but somehow not distracting. I jokingly referred to it as a hipster cafe, but it really is just cool.

I ordered a chai latte, which was a beautiful blue color and so spicy and delicious (without being too heavy or sweet), and got a zucchini bread tops with a passion fruit white chocolate. That bread was everything, I could eat just the topping all day long. I’ve heard great things from friends about their hot chocolate and their homemade poptarts!

I would definitely recommend stopping by here if you want great drinks, great food, and a stellar atmosphere. I made major strides on all my school work and was in a great mood for the rest of the day.
