Do you ever just find a drink that turns into a full blown obsession? Well, that’s me with Juniper Ridge tea.
Juniper Ridge is a sustainable and inspired small business that encapsulates the California wilds into artful products for the bath, home, and brew!
Curious about the brand ethos?
We crawl around in mountain meadows. We smell the wet earth beneath fir trees, and try to determine exactly what those scent notes are in the wind sweeping over a glacier. We conceive of our fragrances throughout the West, on dirt roads and trails, around campfires, and formulate in our Oakland, California workshop. All to capture the beauty of the Mojave Desert at sunrise, thick blanket of fog draping the wildflower gardens of Big Sur, or a late-season, sun-baked, snow carved, glacial canyon high in the Sierra Nevada.
The Douglas Fir Spring Tip botanical tea has had my heart for at least 5 years. It has a warming, wholesome, Christmassy flavor (which works year round), and it manages to transport you to a woodsy paradise with every sip.
Some of the other teas they carry (that I’ve tried) include Douglas fur + rosehip, yerba santa, and white sage + wild mint. All three are pleasant, and have similar, earthy notes.
I’d highly suggest checking this brand, and their amazing teas, out, whether you want something new to brew or other wildcrafted products!
All thoughts and opinions are my own. I’ve been a fan of this brand for years.
