Back in January, I was invited to join an amazing project, modeling for Taylor Made Cosmetics. This was a special opportunity, because after working with Vanessa in the past, I have grown to love and cherish the Taylor Made brand, and this shoot for her cosmetic website launch was special. First, let me give you some background about the company and their amazing ethics.
No chemicals, no fillers! Taylor Made cares about quality and minimizing exposure to harmful chemicals by incorporating ingredients that are responsibly sourced. All of our eco-friendly suppliers are validated to be free from animal testing. Equally important, over 90% of our supply chain are women-owned and/or small businesses located in the USA.
This shoot was all about women’s empowerment and highlighting natural beauty, and the new lip products. We all had natural makeup, done by Parlor Hair and Makeup, and we changed out the matching lipstick and blushes to highlight each color. Alex from AWPortraits took the photos, with the goal of capturing our personality and also the color.
The website features each of the models rocking all the different lip and cheek colors. This is a great way to see the different shades on a multitude of skin and hair colors. There are also model profiles featuring each of our stories and what makes us powerful women. I loved being alongside such empowering women from Doll The Lash Bar and Urban Boho Chic jewelry.
I was able to model the all natural lip colors, that come in a variety of bright and neutral colors that moisturize and hydrate the lips.
There are 3 different formulas to choose from:
Intense moisturizing lip color.
This awesome formula doubles as a cheek color! Offers benefits similar to our nourishing balm but with color and shine to make your lips gorgeous and soft. Product can be layered for a dramatic evening look.
Gives lips beautiful color while softening lips with Vitamin E. Loaded with natural oils to make dry, delicate lips feel comfortably soft and smooth.
Semi-matte lip color.
This formula offers the same amazing color as our Intense Moisture formula but with less oil. Product can be layered for a more dramatic look.
Taylor Made doesn’t believe in eliminating oils completely and stripping lips of critical moisture for the “matte” look, but you will have a less shiny look and slightly longer staying power. Because we’ve eliminating some of the smoothing and hydrating oils we don’t recommend using this formula as a cheek color.
Vegan moisturizing lip color.
Vegan moisturizing lip color. Same shine and benefits as our intense moisturizing lipstick but made without beeswax.
Made with natural oils to make dry, delicate lips feel comfortably soft and smooth.
