If you aren’t using an essence, it’s time to start! Toners in America are often times astringent and rough. In K-Beauty, an essence acts as a toner, but it hydrates the skin while rebalancing it and getting it ready for your other steps. It puts things in instead of taking things out.
Pyunkang Yul is a K-Beauty brand that focused on bringing natural ingredients to skincare with potent benefits, all through innovative product formulations.
The Essence Toner is a unique product that full of nourishing ingredients that absorb right in. I copied the product description below.
Contains 91.3% Milk Vetch Root Extract to re-energize and replenish your skin. Provides intense hydration. Simply patting your skin will result in a gummy sensation in which the skin will react with a high level of elasticity! A viscous, dense texture that absorbs quickly into the skin for a dewy yet smooth and clean finish. Free of artificial fragrances and colors and hypoallergenic to care for your skin without irritating it.
As you can see, it is focused on providing a hydrated feeling for under your other skincare. Milk Vetch is an interesting skincare ingredient I’ve never used before this product. It works as an anti-inflammatory to produce skin regeneration, and officially is considered an antioxidant.
To apply this product, I take the essence application approach where I put some in my hand and apply to my face. It absorbs immediately, and then I go on with the rest of my steps. You can also use a cotton pad to apply, but I find I feel more nourished using my hands.
My skin usually looks plump right after use, and I definitely notice this product enhancing the moisturizing abilities of my other products. Adding this in to my existing routine, it definitely is a product that makes my skin extra glowing! I overall am really happy with my routine at the moment, this included.
Skincare reviews can be a bit challenging because of how many products I use, but I can confidently say I really like and recommend this. My sister and mom are also using it now! So, will you try this essence? Or, are essences a regular part of your skincare routine already?
