Shade and Seeker

I love a good tan! But what I don’t love is being out in the sun to get it. I have fair skin, burn easily, and all of my self tanning attempts have gone horribly wrong. That is why I was so grateful to find Shade and Seeker.

Shade and Seeker generously sponsored my spray tan for Miss Pennsylvania USA, and it was a tan like any other. First of all, it was great that the Kelly formula was able to be rinsed off in 2 hours so the tan didn’t completely dominate my day. The studio was warm, welcoming, and bright, and the tan was personally touched up with a brush. every detail was thought out, making it so that I didn’t have any of those funky streaks or splotches that usually emerge after booth tanning.

The tan was custom mixed, and I looked dark yet healthy. The color was perfect, and it was just the right shade to give me a solid glow while not looking ridiculous.

Now on to another exciting part, the upkeep.

Shade and Seeker carries their own line of self-tanning products called Janet-Dorothy, and they are a small, woman owned business that makes their own products with thought and heart!

The Drew Gradual Self Tanner, a low DHA moisturizer with lots of good ingredients, is suggested to prolong your spray tan and brighten things up while leaving you streak free.

I cut this lotion into my regular lotion (currently the Brazilian bum bum cream) and it went on great and made my skin feel moisturized right away. When I woke up, my tan looked even brighter! The best part was that this lotion didn’t even stain my white sheets, which is a true win.

For $15, this product is affordable, user friendly, and supports a great business.

I couldn’t have competed and felt so confident without Shade and Seeker!
