Stila Magnificent Metals Shadow Looks and Review

Who doesn’t love a bit of sparkle in their routine? I certianly do, which was why I was so excited to get a Stila Magnificent Metals gift set as a gift! These liquid shadows bring the glitz and the glam, and are full of sparkle and staying power for your looks. My set was full of warm colors, which was just perfect for the looks I already make.

This product is a liquid shadow with a doe foot wand. The set included 3 mini sizes in the shades Follow the Sun, Burnished Sienna, and Sunset Fire. Stila describes the product as…

This brilliantly long-wearing sparkle eye shadow combines the perfect mix of pearl and glitter to lavish eyes with incredible luster and shimmer.  With its uniquely lightweight, water-infused texture, Glitter & Glow glides on effortlessly, then dries down smoothly, locking in maximum sparkle with minimal fallout, for eyes with a real “wow!” factor.

I found this product to be super impactful and just like the description said. It doesn’t feel heavy on the eyes, but builds up beautifully and dries fast. There’s no fallout, and it really stays all day! I’ve worn alone and on top of powder eyeshadows. I went ahead and made looks with each color and wanted to share how versatile this glitter is, from natural to daily to glamour looks! You can do it all with these, which is why I love them so much.

Natural with Follow the Sun

This first look is a very natural, yet sparkly look perfect for those very light makeup days. I used some matte, light brown colors to just define my eyes, then applied this light color all over my lid. It is sheer, so it looks like just an added iridescent touch. You can add this on top of a dark shadow, or something light, depending what you want. With mascara, this is a perfect look!

Daily with Sunset Fire

For a more glamorous, daily look that is pulled together, I used the Sunset Fire color on top of a warm tone, matte eye. I used a matte tan, then a darker matte brown, to add some real definition. With this on the lid and the inner corner, things were elevated, but not over the top. I can’t use liquid liner with these, it just doesn’t work right and gets weird, so I applied a gel liner on top with a brush. Then, I finished with mascara.

Glamorous with Burnished Sienna

This was an all out look I created (and I was only going to Trader Joes), using some deeper mattes to create a smokey framed eye. With this copper, deep glitter on top, it looked so party ready. I used a matte black shadow to create some epic liner, then piled on the mascara. This is definitely a look I’d wear out!

These beautiful shadows are just what any makeup lover needs to take shadow looks to the next level. It’s really simple and high quality, as well as easy to apply, but it adds the wow factor to the look. While they can’t be used with liquid liner, they merge seamlessly with all your other makeup favorites. I definitely recommend! Have you tried any colors, and are there more I should try?

All thoughts and opinions are my own. These were a gift from my mom.
