What to Buy in Mallorca, Spain

I promised a shopping post in my Mallorca blog, and here we go! I did quite a bit of shopping in Mallorca, Spain, and I had a blast while doing it. Packing the suitcase back up was a different story, but now that I’m home, I am thoroughly enjoying what I brought back.

I went in with a list of what I wanted to buy, and that was super helpful for me. Here’s my list of what you should keep an eye out for!

  1. Gin Eva– Mallorcan gin is a specialty spirit that I was dying to pick up. Handcrafted in small batches, this gin company harvests their juniper from the seaside coves and uses the island’s citrus. It’s an unforgettable taste of Mallorca.IMG_1376.jpg
  2. Shoes- Campos shoes are made in Mallorca, and because of that, a lot of shoes Artisan’s have followed suit. I was overwhelmed with the shoe options, but eventually decided on the platform wedges that are the featured photo of this post! Hot pink leather, wicker wedges, and the fluffiest insoles you could imagine. Definitely buy some Spanish shoes!
  3. Pearls- I didn’t know Mallorcan pearls were an item before I arrived, but many jewelry shops featured gorgeous earrings with pearls. I had a hard time deciding, but found these beautiful, dangling pearl earrings at a local boutique. They go with everything!IMG_1368
  4. Salt- Mallorca has beautiful salt flats, and their Mediterranean sea salt is flavorful and potent. I found this gorgeous sampler that is high quality, delicious, and will keep cooking fun!IMG_1374.jpg
  5. Olive Oil-Another Mallorcan specialty, Olive Oil made from their olives is a craft speciality, and it even has its own seal of approval. I went for one made in Sollier, another town there, in a gorgeous collectors tin.IMG_1375.jpg
  6. Candy- They love candy in Spain, so I was a happy girl! They love their gummies, so I got some unique gummy candy, as well as European flavors of kit-kats like the ruby cacao and the chunky peanut butter. The most specialty item I purchased was a lemon, white chocolate bar with pink pepper, all sourced on the island.IMG_1582.jpg
  7. Designer Clothes-I’m wearing this item for a special event, so o photos yet, but I definitely recommend checking out the specialty boutiques for clothing made from the island. You’ll find gorgeous sundresses in a distinct Spanish style, and you won’t find them anywhere at home. My mom purchased several!

Overall, this lush island is a great haven for shopping, for both food and other products that will last long, and make more memories!

All thoughts and opinions are my own. I purchased everything myself.
