Young love, isn’t it the greatest?
I’ve been dating my boyfriend for over 7 years, and our love has only grown stronger over the years. I still feel giddy with him, and I was glad that we had an opportunity to capture that through photos.
My friend from college, Christina Anne Photography, made a post about looking for a couple to do a styled shoot in Baltimore! After some chatting, we decided Collin and I will do the fun, rooftop elopement style shoot. Christine arranged the full thing, including the styling, photographers, and location. We also were photographed by Essential Photography too, which made it feel really like a photoshoot!
We arrived in Baltimore, then met the photographers at the parking deck. We were all the way up top and had a fantastic view of the city all around us! I changed (Christine had a very clear vision for our look, and it was great), then we got to work. We did some climbing and got some dreamy shots sitting together, embraced, and even with him carrying me! I had on this elaborate veil, and even though it was cold, I had such a good time I didn’t even notice. Essential Photography brought out the drone, and got some commercial worthy footage of us too!
My biggest tip is to have fun and forget about the photographer! We felt a bit shy at first, but once we got over that, it became so romantic. We just stared into each other’s eyes, joked around, and it felt so good. It was a special way to connect that we haven’t had in a while.
We made a whole date of it and went to Little Italy afterwards! 10/10 would recommend making it a day!
Here’s a few more shots, because I just can’t resist.
I would highly suggest finding a couple’s photographer and giving this a try, you won’t regret it! One way to do so is to go on instagram and just type your area+photographer in the search bar. There’s so many talented people ready to capture your love.
This photoshoot was complimentary, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.
